twenty20– plenty plenty.

12 Sep

The inaugural match was truly exciting.

It was great fun from the start.

I sat through the entire WI innings-though it was a working day today.Hats off to C. Gayle. There was never a dull moment.Paisa Vasool!!He richly deserved the Man of the match award. He  made the match memorable. I will remember this effort for the remaining years of my life .He is going to be praised by the laymen ,armchair – critics , aficionados …

But very few will praise the cheerleaders who were gyrating throughout the match. They didn’t have a break at all.I wonder if they used Mirakul oil /painkillers at the end of the match.

    Cheer leaders… CHEAP.
Want to know if you’ll have your daughter (if you had one) dressed that way before thousands… shakin’ her booty and what not…

@prashanth and AB: The last sentence says:very few people will…
I was putting across my irritation at the CL very mildly.
I felt they were totally unnecessary..
    I will not ,Anand.Relax.
That type of dancing is also a skill. It is not easy.
There are people who appreciate it.

Like it or not, cheerleaders are gonna stay. Skin sells, period.

As for twenty20, I guess it should really be renamed as “Bowler’s nightmare”…I am not sure it’s gonna click like ne-dayers did…at least not with me 🙂

@ DS:i too feel that the dice is loaded against the bowlers.

T-20s are meant to crucify the bowlers.

Aggression is required, and it gets exciting at times too, but some spice is still missing somewhere 😉

    Am I asking too much?

Had one of the teams these four batsmen : Jayasurya, Chris Gayle, Herschelle Gibbs and Adam Gilchrist…..

Just cant imagine the plight of the bowler and the fielding team captain…. isnt it? Thank God! They are born in different countries!
